Dear Elsie Jane,

Your first Christmas was a success. We survived! And now we're about to head into the next year--the next decade! This year will hold a lot of changes for you, so my plan is to hold you. You're growing into a big girl, with definite likes and dislikes, and you laugh and smile so much! You are a happy baby, and we are blessed to have spent the better half of a year with you so far!
